Flo’s Wine Bar is an overly adored neighborhood spot that, despite its youth, feels like it’s always been a part of the sparse, ritzy Tarrytown neighborhood.

Opened in March 2023, as a partnership between the titular Flo Clemens (with familial ties to Grove Wine Bar) and Adair Besley, the dimly lit watering hole is known for wine as much as it is for their longtime partner Allday Pizza. The pairing of expensive wine and cheap slices caters to Tarrytown locals with deep pockets and us regular folk stopping on our way to and fro Mount Bonnell.

Flo’s seamless integration in a quiet neighborhood is a reminder, in a growing city, established is not always better. With locals at the helm and inspired ideas, new restaurants can feel like old favorites.
