Thai Fresh is the kind of homey neighborhood joint that encourages you to come as you are and stay as long as you want. The roaming, inattentive staff of high school stoners make you feel like your presence is welcomed and never over-bearing. This is the kinda spot where you can roll out an entire game of monopoly while you wait for your pad thai without anyone batting an eye. For this reason it's always my go-to spot when I have a lot of catching up to do with my guests and don’t want the conversation to get cut short by the arrival of the bill.

The tom kha soup is a must try, the combination of creamy, sweet and sour is thrilling and can easily be ordered as a main or an appetizer. Do not miss the extensive and ever-changing dessert offerings either.
